Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6/29/2026
Last updated: 6/29/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Eventvo, Inc. (“Eventvo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.eventvowaitlist.com (the “Site”) and join our pre-launch waitlist (the “Waitlist”).

Eventvo is building a marketplace that helps people plan and book event vendors and helps vendors get found.

The Site is a pre-launch landing page: its purpose is to let prospective customers and vendors join our Waitlist, learn about Eventvo, and receive updates. By using the Site or joining the Waitlist, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to two groups:

  • Planners and customers — people interested in finding and booking event vendors (for weddings, birthdays, showers, graduations, private dinners, and similar events).
  • Vendors — businesses interested in listing on Eventvo (venues, food and drink, entertainment, media, rentals, decor, and package partners).

Where a section applies differently to vendors, we say so.

This policy does not cover any third-party website, platform, or service we link to. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

When you join the Waitlist or contact us, you may provide:

  • Contact details — your email address and, if you provide it, your name.
  • Planning details (customers) — event type, estimated event date, city or location, budget range, the services or vendor categories you’re looking for, and how soon you plan to book.
  • Business details (vendors) — business name, vendor category, service area or location, and any contact, website, or social links you choose to share.
  • Anything else you send us — for example, messages you send through a contact form or by replying to our emails.

You don’t have to give us this information, but some of it (like your email address) is necessary to join the Waitlist.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • Device and browser type, operating system, and language settings.
  • IP address and general location (such as city or region) derived from it.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Date and time of your visit and similar log data.

We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. See Section 6 (Cookies and tracking technologies).

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive limited information from:

  • Advertising and social media platforms (such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube), which may tell us how you found us or how our ads performed.
  • Analytics providers, which help us understand Site usage.
  • Service providers that help us run the Waitlist and our communications.

We do not currently ask you to log in through a social media account. If we add that option later, we will update this policy.

3. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate and manage the Waitlist, including confirming your signup.
  • Send you Waitlist updates, launch announcements, early-access invitations, and planning- or vendor-related content you’ve signed up to receive.
  • Understand which event types, locations, budgets, and services are in demand so we can plan our launch, prioritize markets, and plan vendor supply.
  • Measure, operate, and improve the Site and our marketing, including our social and advertising campaigns.
  • Personalize the content and offers we show you, on the Site and through advertising.
  • Respond to your questions and requests.
  • Protect the Site, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We will only use your information for purposes compatible with those described here, or as otherwise permitted by law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described below.

Service providers (processors). We share information with companies that perform services on our behalf—for example, email and waitlist platforms, website hosting, form providers, customer-support tools, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

Advertising and analytics partners. We work with platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube to measure and deliver advertising, including showing you ads on those platforms and reaching people similar to you. This may involve sharing identifiers (such as a hashed email or device identifier) or letting these partners collect information through cookies and pixels on our Site. Under California law, this may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information. See Section 7 (Your privacy choices and rights) for information on how to opt out.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Eventvo, our users, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

We do not knowingly share your information with vendors or customers before Eventvo launches. When the marketplace launches, any sharing between customers and vendors will be governed by the privacy policy in effect at that time, and we will give you notice.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as needed to operate the Waitlist, communicate with you, and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

If you ask us to delete your information or unsubscribe, we will delete or de-identify it within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain certain records (for example, to honor an opt-out, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations).

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. These include:

  • Strictly necessary technologies that make the Site work.
  • Analytics technologies (such as Google Analytics) that help us understand how the Site is used.
  • Advertising technologies (such as Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Ads tags) that help us measure and deliver ads and reach similar audiences.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie banner or preferences tool. Many advertising platforms also offer their own opt-out controls. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. We also honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required—see Section 7.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

7.1 Choices available to everyone

Email. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us at unsubscribe@eventvo.net. We may still send you essential, non-marketing messages related to your request.

Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie controls we provide on the Site.

Access, correction, deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you’ve given us by contacting us at support@eventvo.net.

7.2 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

Because Eventvo is launching with an early focus on California, we want to be clear about your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. Subject to certain limits, you have the right to:

  • Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not use your information to infer sensitive characteristics, and we collect sensitive personal information only to the extent any waitlist detail you provide is treated as such).
  • Non-discrimination—we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of experience for exercising your rights.

To exercise your right to opt out of sale/sharing, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on the Site, email unsubscribe@eventvo.net, adjust your cookie preferences, or contact us at privacy@eventvo.net.

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser on which it is enabled.

To make any other request, contact us at support@eventvo.net. We will verify your request, typically by confirming control of the email address you provided. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

7.3 Other U.S. state residents

Residents of certain other U.S. states may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any such rights, contact us at support@eventvo.net, and we will honor them as required by applicable law.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and email access secure.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@eventvo.net, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, social media profiles, or services (for example, our Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.

11. Where your information is processed

Eventvo, Inc. is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate or required, provide additional notice (such as by email or a notice on the Site). Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
